Defy Death, Sorcery, designed by Karl Kopinski first released in May, 2020 in the set Avacyn Restored and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
Defy Death would be beneficial in a White-based Angel tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it allows for the resurrection of powerful Angel creatures with added bonuses. However, there are more efficient options like Unburial Rites which can bring back any creature card for a lower cost, making it a better choice for most decks. Defy Death may see play in casual Angel-themed decks for its thematic appeal, but competitive decks would likely opt for more versatile reanimation options.
