A deck that revolves around DARK monsters and has ways to fill the graveyard quickly would benefit from Dark Armed Dragon's powerful removal effect. While Dark Armed Dragon can be a strong addition to a DARK-centric strategy, there are other more versatile and efficient cards available in the current metagame such as Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning or Dark Law that might be more consistent choices. However, Dark Armed Dragon can still have a place in certain decks that can meet its summoning conditions consistently and protect it once it hits the field.
