Este card seria benéfico em um deck agressivo vermelho que se concentra em criar cópias de fichas de criaturas poderosas para explosões rápidas de dano. Enquanto Felhide Spiritbinder tem suas utilidades, um card potencialmente melhor para essa estratégia poderia ser Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, que permite a criação repetida de fichas sem a necessidade de pagar mana adicional. No entanto, Felhide Spiritbinder ainda pode ser jogado em decks que procuram uma opção mais econômica ou que buscam mais flexibilidade em suas habilidades de criação de fichas.

The token copies exactly what was printed on the original creature (except that the copy is also an enchantment) and nothing else (unless that permanent is copying something else or is a token; see below). It doesn’t copy whether that creature is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras and Equipment attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, and so on.
