Noah Centineo

Noah Centineo was born May 9, 1996, in Miami, Florida, and grew up nearby with his older sister Taylor there. His parents are Kelly Janel and Gregory Vincent Centineo, and his family later moved to Los Angeles during his childhood. Centineo began acting professionally as a child, appearing in the 2009 family film The Gold Retrievers alongside several young performers. He took guest roles in Austin & Ally, Shake It Up, Jessie, and Marvin Marvin during his early television career. His first substantial series role came as Dallas on Disney Channel's sitcom Austin & Ally starting in 2011's season there. Centineo replaced Jake T. Austin as Jesus Adams Foster in Freeform's The Fosters for its third season, premiering in 2015. He also played Jaden Stark in the Disney Channel film How to Build a Better Boy, released in 2014 television. His breakthrough arrived with Netflix's romantic comedy To All the Boys I've Loved Before, released in August 2018 by Netflix. He portrayed Peter Kavinsky, a popular lacrosse player whose fake relationship with Lara Jean gradually becomes genuine over the film. The film adapted Jenny Han's 2014 young-adult novel and made Centineo an international teen-romance star almost overnight after its release. He returned for two sequels, To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and Always and Forever on Netflix. In 2018, Centineo starred opposite Camila Mendes in The Perfect Date, another Netflix romantic comedy based on a novel there. He played Brooks Rattigan, a student who creates a paid dating service while struggling to define his own ambitions there. That same year, he appeared with Lana Condor in the romantic comedy sequel To All the Boys: P.S. I film. Centineo later played Langston in Charlie's Angels, Elizabeth Banks's 2019 action comedy featuring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska. He joined the DC superhero film Black Adam as Atom Smasher, opposite Dwayne Johnson, Aldis Hodge, and Pierce Brosnan onscreen. Black Adam premiered in October 2022 and introduced his character as Al Rothstein, a young hero using inherited powers there. Centineo also executive-produced and starred in Netflix's spy series The Recruit, playing lawyer Owen Hendricks who unexpectedly enters international intrigue. The series premiered in December 2022, with Owen navigating CIA operations, dangerous witnesses, and complicated personal relationships across episodes worldwide. A second season of The Recruit was released in January 2025, continuing Owen's dangerous work and expanding Centineo's producing responsibilities.
