Zara, Renegade Recruiter zou uitstekend passen in een tempo- of controledeck dat zich richt op het verstoren van de strategie van de tegenstander en tegelijkertijd voordeel haalt op het slagveld. De mogelijkheid om een wezen uit de hand van de tegenstander te stelen en er onmiddellijk mee aan te vallen, kan het spel in jouw voordeel doen uitslaan. Hoewel Zara een sterke kaart is, zijn er andere opties zoals Agent of Treachery die een soortgelijk effect bieden met meer veelzijdigheid, waardoor ze potentieel betere keuzes zijn voor competitief spel. Desalniettemin kan Zara nog steeds een leuke en krachtige toevoeging zijn aan decks die een meer interactief spel willen spelen.
