This card, Veteran Swordsmith, would benefit a white Soldier tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering by providing a power boost to other Soldier creatures. While it is a decent inclusion in such a deck, there are better options like Captain of the Watch, which not only boosts Soldier creatures but also creates additional tokens. However, Veteran Swordsmith could still see play in a budget or more casual Soldier tribal deck for its cost-effective buffing ability.
