Spel Queller, Schepsel – geest, designed by Adam Paquette first released in Jul, 2016 in the set Eldritch Moon Promos and was printed exactly in 8 different ways.
Spell Queller is een veelzijdige kaart die ten goede zou komen aan Control- en Tempo-decks die de spreuken van tegenstanders willen verstoren en de controle over het bord willen behouden. Hoewel het niet altijd een steunpilaar is in de competitieve Magic: the Gathering-decks, kan Spell Queller een sterke keuze zijn in de juiste meta waar goedkope spreuken de boventoon voeren. In sommige gevallen kunnen andere kaarten, zoals Force of Negation, echter consistenter bruikbaar zijn bij het tegengaan van spreuken, waardoor ze mogelijk betere keuzes zijn, afhankelijk van de specifieke kaartspelstrategie. Uiteindelijk hangt de vraag of Spell Queller het spel zou moeten zien grotendeels af van de huidige metagame- en decksamenstelling.

For spells with in their mana costs, use the value chosen for X to determine if the spell’s converted mana cost is 4 or less.

If a player casts a card “without paying its mana cost,” they can’t choose to cast it for any alternative costs, such as emerge costs. The player can, however, pay additional costs, such as escalate costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, those must be paid to cast the card.

If Spell Queller leaves the battlefield before its enters-the-battlefield triggered ability resolves, its leaves-the-battlefield triggered ability triggers, resolves, and does nothing. Then its first triggered ability resolves and exiles the spell forever.

If the exiled card’s owner casts it, the spell has no relation to the spell that player originally cast. Any choices made for the original spell or effects affecting the original spell aren’t carried over to the new one.
