This Snowhorn Rider card would be beneficial in a Temur (Green, Blue, Red) midrange deck due to its trample ability and morph mechanic, allowing for versatility in combat situations. While it can be a decent inclusion in such a deck, there are potentially better options available like Savage Knuckleblade or Surrak Dragonclaw that offer more impactful abilities and stats for a similar mana cost, making Snowhorn Rider less likely to see play in competitive environments.

At any time, you can look at a face-down spell or permanent you control. You can’t look at face-down spells or permanents you don’t control unless an effect instructs you to do so.

Because the permanent is on the battlefield both before and after it’s turned face up, turning a permanent face up doesn’t cause any enters-the-battlefield abilities to trigger.
