Sanguine Bond, Betovering, designed by Jaime Jones first released in Jul, 2009 in the set Magic 2010 and was printed exactly in 10 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's a key card in 8 combos.
Een deck dat gericht is op strategieën om levens te winnen, zoals een lifelink- of vampier-tribal-deck, zou baat hebben bij het opnemen van Sanguine Bond, omdat het een krachtig levensafvoereffect creëert dat het tij van het spel snel kan keren. Een meer competitieve optie kan echter Exquisite Blood zijn, dat een soortgelijk effect heeft, maar het levensverlies van de tegenstander veroorzaakt in plaats van jouw levenswinst, waardoor een oneindige combo ontstaat in combinatie met Sanguine Bond. Deze combo wordt als krachtig beschouwd en kan in bepaalde decks een winvoorwaarde zijn, waardoor Sanguine Bond een waardige opname in deze strategieën is.

Each creature with lifelink dealing combat damage causes a separate life-gaining event. For example, if two creatures you control with lifelink deal combat damage at the same time, Sanguine Bond’s ability will trigger twice and you may choose a different opponent for each trigger. However, if a single creature you control with lifelink deals combat damage to multiple creatures, players, and/or planeswalkers at the same time (perhaps because it has trample or was blocked by more than one creature), the ability will trigger only once.

Sanguine Bond’s ability triggers just once for each life-gaining event, whether it’s 1 life from Soul Warden or 8 life from Tendrils of Corruption.
