Restoration Angel is een veelzijdige kaart die nuttig kan zijn in verschillende decks, vooral als die gericht zijn op op wezens gebaseerde strategieën of die belangrijke wezens willen beschermen. Het kan vooral handig zijn in decks die gebruik maken van triggers die het slagveld betreden of die krachtige niet-engelwezens hebben die er baat bij kunnen hebben als ze met hun ogen knipperen. Hoewel er misschien andere kaarten zijn met vergelijkbare effecten, maken het flitsvermogen en het vliegen van Restoration Angel het een goede keuze voor directe interactie en ontwijking. Over het geheel genomen is het een solide kaart die in het juiste kaartspel kan worden gespeeld, afhankelijk van de betrokken strategie en synergieën.

Once the exiled creature returns, it’s considered a new object with no relation to the object that it was. Auras attached to the exiled creature will be put into their owners’ graveyards. Equipment attached to the exiled creature will become unattached and remain on the battlefield. Any counters on the exiled creature will cease to exist.

When an effect returns the exiled card “under your control,” you control it indefinitely after that. If you had temporarily gained control of a creature, it won’t return to its previous controller. In a multiplayer game, if a player leaves the game, all cards that player owns leave as well. If you leave the game, a creature you took with Restoration Angel’s effect is exiled.

If you target a creature that you control but don’t own, you control the returned creature indefinitely after it returns. When you leave a multiplayer game, exile any objects that you put onto the battlefield under your control but don’t own.
