Goblin Assault Team, Creature — goblin warrior, designed by Zoltan Boros first released in Apr, 2019 in the set War of the Spark.
This card would be beneficial in an aggressive red deck looking to apply early pressure with hasty creatures. While Goblin Assault Team provides a decent body and the potential to boost another creature upon its demise, there are more efficient options available such as Goblin Guide or Goblin Rabblemaster that offer immediate impact and better value for the mana cost. Overall, Goblin Assault Team may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to stronger alternatives in the same mana cost range.

If Goblin Assault Team and another creature you control die simultaneously (perhaps because they were both dealt lethal damage in combat), the other creature won’t be on the battlefield when you choose a target for Goblin Assault Team’s ability. That creature can’t be saved by the +1/+1 counter that Goblin Assault Team gives.
