Disowned Ancestor, Creature — spirit warrior, designed by Zack Stella first released in Sep, 2014 in the set Khans of Tarkir and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card, Disowned Ancestor, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on building up a board presence with +1/+1 counters and utilizing creatures with the warrior subtype. Decks that aim to go wide with creatures and have synergies with +1/+1 counters would find this card useful. However, there are better options available such as Bloodsoaked Champion or Mardu Woe-Reaper which offer more impactful abilities or stats for their cost. Disowned Ancestor may not see much play in competitive decks due to its relatively low impact compared to other options available.

The cost to activate a creature’s outlast ability includes the tap symbol (). A creature’s outlast ability can’t be activated unless that creature has been under your control continuously since the beginning of your turn.
