Dawnfluke, Creature — elemental, designed by Mark Zug first released in Oct, 2007 in the set Lorwyn.
This card, Dawnfluke, would be beneficial in a white control deck that focuses on protecting key creatures or planeswalkers from damage. While it offers a temporary prevention of damage upon entering the battlefield, its evoke ability provides versatility in being able to cast it for a lower cost and trigger its effect when needed. However, in a competitive setting, there may be better options such as Teferi, Time Raveler or Gideon Blackblade that offer more impactful abilities and value for their mana cost, making Dawnfluke less likely to see play in top-tier decks.

If you cast this card for its evoke cost, you may put the sacrifice trigger and the regular enters-the-battlefield trigger on the stack in either order. The one put on the stack last will resolve first.
