Een controledek dat zich richt op vliegende wezens en gevechtstrucs zou er baat bij hebben om Cloudheath Drake in zijn strategie op te nemen, omdat de combinatie van vliegen en waakzaamheid het tot een veelzijdige bedreiging maakt. Er zijn echter potentieel betere opties beschikbaar, zoals kaarten met meer impactvolle vaardigheden of lagere castingkosten, afhankelijk van de specifieke behoeften van het kaartspel. Cloudheath Drake zou in bepaalde scenario's spel kunnen zien, maar de opname ervan zou afhangen van het algemene spelplan en de synergie binnen het kaartspel.

The only difference between a colored artifact and a colorless artifact is, obviously, its color. Unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact requires colored mana to cast. Also unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact has a color in all zones. It will interact with cards that care about color. Other than that, a colored artifact behaves just like any other artifact. It will interact as normal with any card that cares about artifacts, such as Shatter or Arcbound Ravager.
