Un mazzo rosso aggressivo o di bruciatura beneficerebbe dall'utilizzo di Searing Blaze, specialmente in un mazzo a tema landfall dove puoi massimizzare il suo potenziale di danni. Anche se potrebbero esserci incantesimi di rimozione più efficienti disponibili, la flessibilità di Searing Blaze nel poter bersagliare contemporaneamente entrambi i giocatori e le creature lo rende una scelta forte in certi scontri, particolarmente contro strategie basate sulle creature. Nel complesso, è una carta solida che sicuramente può essere giocata nel contesto giusto del mazzo.
