Questo Plague Stinger è un ottimo aggiunta a un mazzo Infect in Magic: the Gathering, poiché fornisce una minaccia volante con la capacità di Infect, permettendoti di avvelenare rapidamente il tuo avversario. Tuttavia, ci sono opzioni migliori come Glistener Elf e Blighted Agent che sono più efficienti e più difficili da affrontare, rendendoli scelte preferite nel gioco competitivo. Plague Stinger potrebbe comunque essere giocato in mazzi casual o a basso costo che cercano di utilizzare efficacemente la meccanica Infect.

A player who has ten or more poison counters loses the game. This is a state-based action.

If damage from a source with infect that would be dealt to a player is prevented, that player doesn’t get poison counters. If damage from a source with infect that would be dealt to a creature is prevented, that creature doesn’t get -1/-1 counters.

The -1/-1 counters remain on the creature indefinitely. They’re not removed if the creature regenerates or the turn ends.
