Reconnaissance en profondeur, Rituel, conçu par Jeff Remmer sorti pour la première fois en May, 2020 dans l'édition Odyssey et a été imprimé exactement dans 2 formes différentes.

Cette carte bénéficierait d'un deck de rampe cherchant à accélérer sa base de mana en cherchant des terrains de base et en lançant éventuellement des sorts depuis le cimetière avec flashback. Bien que la Reconnaissance en profondeur puisse être utile dans certaines situations, il existe de meilleures options disponibles telles que la Croissance effrénée ou le Cultivate, qui offrent des effets similaires à moindre coût. Que la Reconnaissance en profondeur devrait être jouée dépendrait de la stratégie spécifique et de la synergie au sein du deck, mais cela pourrait ne pas être un choix de premier plan par rapport aux autres cartes de rampe dans le format.

To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you’re paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The converted mana cost of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.

You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.

“Flashback [cost]” means “You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost” and “If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack.”
