Goule des tumulus, Creature — zombie, conçu par Bryan Talbot sorti pour la première fois en Jun, 1997 dans l'édition Weatherlight et a été imprimé exactement dans 2 formes différentes.
Cette carte pourrait être bénéfique dans un deck axé sur le cimetière qui vise à avoir un grand nombre de créatures dans le cimetière pour diverses synergies. Cependant, il existe de meilleures options comme Gravecrawler ou Bloodghast qui offrent une valeur plus constante sans l'inconvénient de se sacrifier potentiellement. Barrow Ghoul pourrait ne pas être aussi joué dans les decks compétitifs en raison de son inconvénient, mais il pourrait quand même être amusant et thématique dans des decks occasionnels ou thématiques axés sur les interactions avec le cimetière.

Say you’re the owner of both a permanent and an Aura that’s attached to it. If both the permanent and the Aura are destroyed at the same time (by Akroma’s Vengeance, for example), you decide the order they’re put into your graveyard. If just the enchanted permanent is destroyed, it’s put into your graveyard first. Then, after state-based actions are checked, the Aura (which is no longer attached to anything) is put into your graveyard on top of it.
