Gideon, parangon de soldat, Planeswalker : gideon, conçu par Daarken sorti pour la première fois en May, 2020 dans l'édition Amonkhet.

Gideon, Parangon Martial serait un excellent ajout à un deck blanc aggro ou white weenie qui se concentre sur l'inondation du plateau avec de petites créatures et submerger rapidement l'adversaire. Les capacités de la carte à dégager et à renforcer toutes les créatures, à se protéger avec l'indestructible, et à fournir un puissant renforcement à l'échelle du plateau en font une option polyvalente et forte pour les stratégies agressives. Bien qu'il puisse y avoir d'autres planeswalkers avec un impact immédiat ou un potentiel de victoire plus grand, la flexibilité de Gideon, Parangon Martial et sa capacité à soutenir une large gamme de stratégies basées sur les créatures en font un choix solide pour les decks cherchant à s'étendre et à aller vite.

All creatures you control get +1/+1 from Gideon’s first ability, not just the ones that it untapped.

Gideon’s second ability causes him to become a creature with the creature types Human and Soldier. He remains a planeswalker with the planeswalker type Gideon. (He also retains any other card types or subtypes he may have had.) Each subtype is correlated to the proper card type: planeswalker is only a type (not a creature type), and Human and Soldier are just creature types (not planeswalker types).

Gideon’s second ability doesn’t count as a creature entering the battlefield. Gideon was already on the battlefield; he only changed his types.
