Explorateurs du Cimetière Noyé serait un excellent ajout à un deck de contrôle ou de tempo dans Magic: l'Assemblée, car il offre un avantage en cartes grâce aux enquêtes. Cependant, il existe de meilleures options disponibles dans le format telles que le Mage de la Résurgence ou le Torrential Gearhulk, qui offrent des capacités plus impactantes. Bien que les Explorateurs du Cimetière Noyé ne soient peut-être pas une carte de premier plan, ils pourraient quand même être joués dans des decks occasionnels ou à budget cherchant des options de pioche de cartes.
