Léopard à ergots faucheurs, Créature : chat, conçu par Winona Nelson sorti pour la première fois en Jun, 2002 dans l'édition Magic Online Promos et a été imprimé exactement dans 4 formes différentes.

Cette carte, Scythe Leopard, serait un excellent ajout à un deck landfall dans Magic: the Gathering, où la stratégie tourne autour de jouer des terrains pour déclencher des capacités puissantes. Alors que Scythe Leopard offre un bon coup de pouce avec sa capacité landfall, il existe des options plus fortes comme Steppe Lynx ou Tarmogoyf qui offrent des effets plus cohérents et impactants. Cependant, pour un deck à petit budget ou décontracté, Scythe Leopard pourrait quand même être joué comme une inclusion solide pour sa synergie avec les mécaniques de landfall.

A landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability puts a land onto the battlefield under your control.

If the ability has an additional or replacement effect that depends on the land having a certain basic land type, the ability will check that land’s type as the ability resolves. If, at that time, the land that entered the battlefield is no longer on the battlefield, use its types when it left the battlefield to determine what happens.
