Un deck axé sur le lancement d'un grand nombre de sorts instantanés et de rituel bénéficierait de l'inclusion de Backdraft Hellkite, car il peut fournir une valeur supplémentaire en permettant à ces sorts d'être lancés à nouveau depuis le cimetière. Bien qu'il puisse y avoir d'autres cartes offrant des effets similaires ou une meilleure synergie avec des stratégies spécifiques, Backdraft Hellkite pourrait toujours trouver sa place dans les decks cherchant à maximiser l'utilisation de leurs sorts et des ressources du cimetière.
