El Proteano Taumaturgo sería una gran adición a un mazo centrado en encantamientos y criaturas con habilidades poderosas que desearías copiar. Los mazos que giran en torno a la sinergia de encantamientos o tienen criaturas clave con habilidades impactantes se beneficiarían de su flexibilidad. Aunque puede haber otras cartas que ofrezcan efectos similares, la capacidad del Proteano Taumaturgo de copiar repetidamente criaturas puede proporcionar versatilidad y factor sorpresa en el juego, lo que lo convierte en un fuerte contendiente para ser incluido en el mazo adecuado.

A constellation ability triggers whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. Enchantments with other card types, such as enchantment creatures, will also cause constellation abilities to trigger.

Protean Thaumaturge’s ability causes it to become a copy indefinitely. It doesn’t expire during the cleanup step or if the target creature leaves the battlefield after the ability has resolved.
