Sobre Tótem viviente

Tótem viviente, Criatura — elemental planta, diseñada por Svetlin Velinov lanzado por primera vez en Jul, 2014 en edición Magic 2015.

Un mazo centrado en la sinergia de criaturas y el aumento de maná se beneficiaría al incluir Living Totem, ya que puede proporcionar un impulso a otra criatura y al mismo tiempo potencialmente lanzarse por un costo reducido mediante convocación. Sin embargo, hay mejores opciones disponibles para efectos similares, como Hardened Scales o Rishkar, Peema Renegade, que ofrecen beneficios más consistentes e impactantes. Es posible que Living Totem no tenga tanto juego en mazos competitivos debido a su impacto limitado en comparación con otras opciones.

If a creature you control has a mana ability with in the cost, activating that ability while casting a spell with convoke will result in the creature being tapped before you pay the spell’s costs. You won’t be able to tap it again for convoke. Similarly, if you sacrifice a creature to activate a mana ability while casting a spell with convoke, that creature won’t be on the battlefield when you pay the spell’s costs, so you won’t be able to tap it for convoke.
