Esta carta de Lifeline sería beneficiosa en un mazo que se centre en sacrificar criaturas para varios efectos, como un mazo de sacrificio o reanimador. Si bien Lifeline puede ser poderosa en ciertas situaciones, hay cartas mejores como Mikaeus, el Profanado o Athreos, Dios del Paso, que ofrecen habilidades más versátiles e impactantes en estrategias similares. Si Lifeline debería jugarse dependería de las sinergias y estrategias específicas del mazo, ya que puede ser una carta situacional pero potencialmente poderosa en el contexto adecuado.

If more than one creature is on the battlefield and all the creatures on the battlefield go to the graveyard at once, then none of them are returned at end of turn. This is because Lifeline’s ability has an intervening-if clause, which means that there must be at least one creature on the battlefield at the time the ability resolves.
