Esta carta, Realidad Cruel, encajaría bien en un mazo de control o de rango medio que tenga como objetivo interrumpir el estado del tablero y los recursos del oponente. Aunque puede ser efectiva para desgastar las criaturas o planeswalkers del oponente y drenar su vida, hay opciones más eficientes como Liliana del Velo o Liliana, la Última Esperanza que proporcionan un valor adicional o un impacto inmediato.
