Un mazo de control que se centra en alterar el estado del tablero del oponente se beneficiaría al incluir Wipe Away en su estrategia, ya que proporciona una forma versátil y eficiente de lidiar con permanentes problemáticos. Si bien puede haber otras cartas con efectos similares, la habilidad de fracción de segundo de Wipe Away la distingue al evitar que los oponentes respondan, lo que la convierte en una buena opción para mazos que buscan mantener el ritmo y controlar el juego. En general, Wipe Away podría funcionar en el mazo correcto, especialmente en formatos donde es valioso rebotar permanentes.

If the resolution of a triggered ability involves casting a spell, that spell can’t be cast if a spell with split second is on the stack.

Players still get priority while a card with split second is on the stack; their options are just limited to mana abilities and certain special actions.

Split second doesn’t stop triggered abilities from triggering, such as that of Chalice of the Void. If one does, its controller puts it on the stack and chooses targets for it, if any. Those abilities will resolve as normal.
