Esta carta Boros Challenger sería beneficiosa en un mazo aggro Boros que se enfoca en atacar rápidamente y de manera eficiente. Su habilidad de Mentor puede ayudar a potenciar el poder de otras criaturas atacantes, convirtiéndola en una adición fuerte a un mazo que busca abrumar al oponente con un ataque rápido y poderoso. Aunque puede haber otras cartas con efectos similares, la versatilidad y el bajo costo de maná del Boros Challenger lo convierten en una elección sólida para tal estrategia, y definitivamente debería verse en mazos que buscan aplicar presión temprana y mantener presencia en el tablero.

If the creature with mentor leaves the battlefield with mentor on the stack, use its power as that creature last existed on the battlefield to determine whether the target creature has less power.

Mentor compares the power of the creature with mentor with that of the target creature at two different times: once as the triggered ability is put onto the stack, and once as the triggered ability resolves. If you wish to raise a creature’s power so its mentor ability can target a bigger creature, the last chance you have to do so is during the beginning of combat step.
