Sobre Pescador de la Maraña

Pescador de la Maraña, Criatura — horror, diseñada por Igor Kieryluk lanzado por primera vez en May, 2020 en edición Scars of Mirrodin.

Esta carta, Tangle Angler, sería beneficiosa en un mazo centrado en utilizar mecánicas de infección para derrotar rápidamente a los oponentes al infligir contadores de veneno. Aunque puede ser efectiva en ciertas situaciones, hay opciones potencialmente mejores como Blight Mamba o Glistener Elf que ofrecen más versatilidad o evasión. Si Tangle Angler debería jugarse depende de la estrategia específica y la sinergia dentro del mazo, pero podría ser una adición valiosa para un mazo de infección dedicado que busque aplicar presión temprano en el juego.

A player who has ten or more poison counters loses the game. This is a state-based action.

If damage from a source with infect that would be dealt to a player is prevented, that player doesn’t get poison counters. If damage from a source with infect that would be dealt to a creature is prevented, that creature doesn’t get -1/-1 counters.

If you attack with Tangle Angler but a creature you targeted with its activated ability isn’t able to block it (for example, because an effect has granted Tangle Angler intimidate and the other creature is white), the other creature is free to block whichever creature its controller chooses, or block no creatures at all.

The -1/-1 counters remain on the creature indefinitely. They’re not removed if the creature regenerates or the turn ends.

You may activate Tangle Angler’s second ability multiple times in a turn to force multiple creatures to block it.
