Un mazo orientado al control o al tempo que se centra en interrumpir el lanzamiento de hechizos del oponente se beneficiaría al usar Bring the Ending en un formato donde los contadores de veneno sean relevantes. Si bien Bring the Ending ofrece flexibilidad con su efecto corruptor, la carta Mana Leak puede ser una mejor opción debido a su capacidad para contrarrestar cualquier hechizo incondicionalmente, lo que la hace más versátil en la mayoría de las situaciones. Sin embargo, en un meta donde los contadores de veneno juegan un papel importante, Bring the Ending podría ver el juego como una opción de banquillo metadependiente para una interrupción adicional.
