Un mazo centrado en estrategias con muchas criaturas, como un mazo tribal o un mazo con poderosos efectos al entrar al campo de batalla, se beneficiaría al incluir al Cambiaformas Inestable. Sin embargo, una opción más competitiva podría ser la carta Impersonador Astuto, que te permite elegir qué copias y no viene con la desventaja de perder su habilidad. Aunque el Cambiaformas Inestable puede ser divertido y con estilo, su imprevisibilidad puede no convertirlo en la mejor opción para el juego competitivo.
