Esta carta sería beneficiosa en un mazo agresivo basado en blanco que tiene como objetivo acumular contadores +1/+1 u otros tipos de contadores en criaturas o planeswalkers. Podría funcionar bien con cartas que crean fichas o tienen habilidades activadas por contadores. Sin embargo, hay mejores opciones disponibles como Ajani, el de Gran Corazón que no solo prolifera sino que también proporciona otros efectos poderosos, lo que lo convierte en una elección más versátil. Mártir por la Causa podría ser útil en mazos específicos centrados en contadores, pero su utilidad puede variar dependiendo de la estrategia general y la sinergia del mazo.
