Sobre Caballero del Relicario

Caballero del Relicario, Criatura — caballero humano, diseñada por Michael Komarck lanzado por primera vez en Feb, 2009 en edición Conflux y fue impreso exactamente en 7 diferentes formas.

Un mazo que se beneficia del Caballero de la Reliquia sería un mazo centrado en tierras que tiene como objetivo llenar el cementerio con cartas de tierra para aumentar su poder y resistencia. Esta carta se ve comúnmente en mazos como Lands Matter o mazos de Maze's End que dependen de la sinergia de tierras para sus condiciones de victoria. Aunque puede haber otras cartas poderosas como Tarmogoyf o Scavenging Ooze en combinaciones de colores similares que ofrecen diferentes ventajas, la capacidad del Caballero de la Reliquia para buscar tierras específicas y crecer en tamaño lo convierte en una inclusión valiosa en el mazo adecuado.

Knight of the Reliquary’s first ability applies only while it’s on the battlefield. In all other zones, it’s a 2/2 creature.

Sacrificing a Forest or Plains is part of the cost of Knight of the Reliquary’s activated ability. Assuming that sacrificing the land puts it into your graveyard, Knight of the Reliquary’s first ability will immediately give it an additional +1/+1 when that cost is paid because there’ll be a new land card in your graveyard. Paying a cost can’t be responded to (with Shock, for example).
