Engendro retroexplosivo, Criatura — dragón, diseñada por Rudy Siswanto lanzado por primera vez en Aug, 2019 en edición Commander 2019 y fue impreso exactamente en 3 diferentes formas.
Un mazo enfocado en lanzar una gran cantidad de hechizos instantáneos y de hechicería se beneficiaría al incluir Backdraft Hellkite, ya que puede proporcionar valor adicional al permitir que esos hechizos se lancen nuevamente desde el cementerio. Si bien puede haber otras cartas que ofrecen efectos similares o mejor sinergia con estrategias específicas, Backdraft Hellkite aún podría encontrar un lugar en mazos que buscan maximizar el uso de sus hechizos y recursos del cementerio.
