Un mazo de control que tenga como objetivo detener el juego y controlar el tablero se beneficiaría del uso de Terminus, ya que proporciona un poderoso efecto de limpieza del tablero a un costo relativamente bajo. Si bien Terminus es una buena opción para los mazos de control, algunos pueden preferir otras cartas de borrado de tablero como Wrath of God o Supreme Verdict, dependiendo de las necesidades específicas del mazo. En general, Terminus es una carta sólida que puede jugarse en el arquetipo de mazo adecuado.
