Drenar vida, Sorcery, diseñada por Douglas Shuler lanzado por primera vez en Aug, 1993 en edición Limited Edition Alpha y fue impreso exactamente en 19 diferentes formas.

Un mazo que se centre en controlar el tablero y ganar vida se beneficiaría al usar Drain Life, ya que proporciona una forma versátil de infligir daño y reponer tu propio total de vida. Sin embargo, hay cartas mejores como Exsanguinate o Gray Merchant of Asphodel que ofrecen una ganancia de vida más impactante o un potencial de daño en ciertos escenarios, por lo que Drain Life no siempre puede ser la elección óptima en el juego competitivo, pero aún así podría encontrar un lugar en mazos más casuales o temáticos.
