Sobre Thryx, la Tempestad Inmediata

Thryx, la Tempestad Inmediata, Criatura legendaria — gigante elemental, diseñada por Mathias Kollros lanzado por primera vez en May, 2020 en edición Theros Beyond Death y fue impreso exactamente en 7 diferentes formas.

Un mazo que se centra en lanzar hechizos de alto costo, como mazos de control o de rampa, se beneficiaría al incluir Thryx, la Tormenta Súbita. Su capacidad para reducir el costo de los hechizos con valor de maná de 5 o más y hacerlos incontrastables puede cambiar las reglas del juego en ciertos enfrentamientos. Si bien puede haber otras cartas con efectos similares, la capacidad de flash y el vuelo de Thryx la convierten en una opción versátil y poderosa que definitivamente podría jugar en el mazo adecuado.

If Thryx enters the battlefield while a spell with converted mana cost 5 or greater that you cast is on the stack, that spell can’t be countered, even though you don’t get the discount.

To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you’re paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions (such as that of Thryx). The converted mana cost of the spell remains unchanged, no matter what the total cost to cast it was.
