Telepathic Spies, Creature — human wizard, designed by Thomas M. Baxa first released in Jun, 1999 in the set Urza's Destiny and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This card, Telepathic Spies, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's strategy by gaining information about their hand. However, there are better options available such as Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek which not only provide hand disruption but also allow you to choose and discard a card from the opponent's hand. While Telepathic Spies can be situational, it may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to the existence of more efficient hand disruption cards.
