Steadfastness, Sorcery, designed by Kev Walker first released in May, 1997 in the set Portal and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Steadfastness would be beneficial in a White Weenie or Aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it can provide a temporary boost to your creatures' toughness, helping them survive combat or removal spells. However, there are better options available such as Brave the Elements, which provides protection from a chosen color, or Unbreakable Formation, which grants a similar toughness boost with additional benefits. While Steadfastness may have situational uses, it may not be the most optimal choice for competitive play compared to other cards with more versatile effects.
