About Shared Fate

Shared Fate, Enchantment, designed by Matt Cavotta first released in Oct, 2003 in the set Mirrodin and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's a key card in 1 combos.

Shared Fate is a unique and disruptive card that could benefit a control deck looking to disrupt the opponent's strategy by limiting their card draw options. While it can be a fun and interesting addition to a deck, it may not be the most competitive choice due to its high mana cost and the potential for opponents to take advantage of the exiled cards. Other cards like Narset, Parter of Veils or Notion Thief may offer more consistent and powerful card draw disruption in a more focused deck, making Shared Fate more of a niche or casual play rather than a staple in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.

Rules

08/01/08

Each Shared Fate tracks only the cards it exiled. If the Shared Fate which was responsible for a card being exiled leaves the battlefield, putting another Shared Fate onto the battlefield will not allow you to look at or play that card again.

12/01/04

If more than one Shared Fate is on the battlefield, you choose which one replaces each card draw, but you can replace a draw only once.

12/01/04

You need to pay the costs of any cards you play from the Exile zone. This could be a problem if you don’t have the right colors of mana available.
