About Scalpelexis

Scalpelexis, Creature — beast, designed by Mark Tedin first released in May, 2002 in the set Judgment and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

A control deck focused on disrupting the opponent's library would benefit from using Scalpelexis in Magic: the Gathering. While Scalpelexis has a unique ability to potentially exile multiple cards from the opponent's library, its high mana cost may make it less efficient than other options like Jace, the Mind Sculptor, which offers card advantage and control. However, Scalpelexis could still see play in certain metagames where library disruption is crucial for victory.
