About Ojutai's Summons

Ojutai's Summons, Sorcery, designed by Jakub Kasper first released in Mar, 2015 in the set Dragons of Tarkir and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

This card would be beneficial in a control or tempo deck that aims to stall the game and generate card advantage. While Ojutai's Summons provides a decent 2/2 flying creature and the potential for additional value with rebound, there are more efficient options like Lingering Souls or Bitterblossom that offer better value for similar mana cost and provide more consistent board presence. Overall, while Ojutai's Summons can be a fun and flavorful inclusion, it may not be the most competitive choice in a deck looking for optimal efficiency.

Rules

02/25/15

At the beginning of your upkeep, all delayed triggered abilities created by rebound effects trigger. You may handle them in any order. If you want to cast a card this way, you do so as part of the resolution of its delayed triggered ability. Timing restrictions based on the card’s type (if it’s a sorcery) are ignored. Other restrictions, such as “Cast [this spell] only during combat,” must be followed.

02/25/15

Casting the card again due to the delayed triggered ability is optional. If you choose not to cast the card, or if you can’t (perhaps because there are no legal targets available), the card will stay exiled. You won’t get another chance to cast it on a future turn.

02/25/15

If you cast a spell with rebound from any zone other than your hand (including your opponent’s hand), rebound will have no effect.

02/25/15

Rebound will have no effect on copies of spells because you don’t cast them from your hand.
