This Phyrexian Ogre card could be beneficial in a deck focused on aggressive strategies that aim to quickly deal damage to both creatures and players through poison counters. However, in a competitive setting, there are more efficient and powerful cards available for similar strategies, such as Glistener Elf or Blight Mamba. Ogre Menial may not see much play in high-level Magic: The Gathering decks due to its higher mana cost and limited impact compared to other infect creatures.
