While Necropede is a solid card for its cost and ability to spread -1/-1 counters, there are stronger options like Plague Stinger or Glistener Elf that can provide more immediate threat and synergy in these decks. Necropede can still see play in certain builds for its unique abilities, but it may not be a top-tier choice compared to other options available.
