Markov Patrician would benefit a black-based aggressive deck that focuses on gaining life to sustain its aggression. However, there are better options available like Vampire Nighthawk, which also has flying and deathtouch in addition to lifelink, making it a more versatile and powerful choice. While Markov Patrician could see play in a budget deck or a themed vampire deck, more competitive decks would likely opt for stronger lifelink creatures like Vampire Nighthawk.
