About Magus of the Abyss

Magus of the Abyss, Creature — human wizard, designed by Kev Walker first released in May, 2007 in the set Future Sight and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

A deck that focuses on controlling the board and disrupting the opponent's creatures would benefit from using Magus of the Abyss, especially in a black-based control deck. While Magus of the Abyss can be effective in certain situations, there are better options available such as Damnation or Toxic Deluge, which offer more flexibility and efficiency in creature removal. Magus of the Abyss could see play in specific metagames where its ability is particularly strong, but it may not be a staple in most competitive decks.
