About Living Lands

Living Lands, Enchantment, designed by Jesper Myrfors first released in May, 2020 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 15 different ways. It's a key card in 2 combos.

A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and generating additional creature threats would benefit from using Living Lands in Magic: the Gathering. This card synergizes well with strategies that rely on land-based creature synergies or landfall triggers. However, there are potentially better options like Nissa, Who Shakes the World, which not only animates lands but also provides additional mana ramp and powerful abilities. Living Lands could see play in niche decks that specifically benefit from its effect, but it may not be a staple in most competitive decks due to its vulnerability to removal and potential lack of immediate impact.

Rules

08/01/08

A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature can attack, and its abilities can be activated, only if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn. It doesn’t matter how long the permanent has been a creature.
