This card would benefit a deck focused on casting Dinosaur spells efficiently, such as a tribal Dinosaur deck in Magic: the Gathering. While Kinjalli's Caller is a solid inclusion for reducing the cost of Dinosaur spells, a better alternative could be Drover of the Mighty, which not only reduces the cost of Dinosaur spells but also provides mana of any color, offering more flexibility. Kinjalli's Caller could still see play in a Dinosaur-themed deck as an additional cost reduction option, especially in a more budget-friendly build.

To determine the total cost of a Dinosaur spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you’re paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The converted mana cost of the creature remains unchanged, no matter what the total cost to cast it was.
