About Kethis, the Hidden Hand

Kethis, the Hidden Hand, Legendary creature — elf advisor, designed by Yongjae Choi first released in Jun, 2019 in the set Core Set 2020 and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

This card, Kethis, the Hidden Hand, would greatly benefit a Legendary-themed deck in Magic: The Gathering, especially one focused on casting powerful Legendary spells. It provides cost reduction for Legendary spells and enables you to play Legendary cards from your graveyard, adding flexibility and value to your strategy. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects, Kethis's unique combination of abilities makes it a strong contender for inclusion in such decks, especially for its ability to recur Legendary cards from the graveyard. Overall, Kethis should definitely see play in a deck that revolves around Legendary creatures and spells.

Rules

07/12/19

Kethis’s last ability affects only legendary cards that are in your graveyard at the time it resolves. Legendary cards put into your graveyard later in the turn won’t gain the ability. If you play a legendary card and it returns to your graveyard, it won’t have the ability anymore.

07/12/19

You’ll still pay all costs for a legendary spell you cast this way, including additional costs. You may also pay alternative costs.
