Keeper of the Dead, Creature — human wizard, designed by Brom first released in Jun, 1998 in the set Exodus and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card, Keeper of the Dead, would be beneficial in a black control deck that focuses on filling up its own graveyard with creature cards while disrupting the opponent's graveyard. However, there are better options available such as Shriekmaw, which offers more flexibility and efficiency in creature removal. Keeper of the Dead may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its specific conditions and limitations compared to other available options.
